A cool beer bar that usually has at least one Belgian on tap and a good selection of micros. Nice bottle selection includes Avery Reverend and Duvel. Lacks local beer on tap, and San Diego beers, considering their quality, are underrepresented. Where is Stone, AleSmith, Port, etc.? We have amazing award-winning beers here, why must the bars look to Europe or the Pacific Northwest when looking for quality?

Great Great So So Good Good
This place is a little slow in the afternoon, and then it jumps in the evening. A good place to kick it and talk on the deck. Watch out for the Reverend, it kicks serious butt!

San Diego's oldest beer and wine pub. Sparky's opened on 2/11/1935! 72 different beers offered, Sparky's serves sake and wine also.

I have been a customer since 1985 and I would not go anywhere else in San Diego.
